Dear PADI, I do not take time to write about my consumer experiences good or bad, but Pat Keller is an exception. I was originally certified under Naui in Oct 1978 and after many year lay off from diving thought best to get totally re certified and plan to return to active diver status( I believe in re training every 33 years whether needed or not!!!!;-) . A close friend found Maximum Scuba off the internet and we got Mr Keller by luck of the draw. I am have been a full time professional speaker for over 25 years ( www.DavisSeminars.com / www.FitandFunny.net www.KangarooCarry.com ) and from my professional view feel Mr Keller is uniquely qualified to teach. He blends the right amount of humor to hold your attention and never lets the humor over shadow the serious tone of the sport. He is equal parts entertainment, education and motivation to be a better safer diver. He has a unique ability to relate the material to each student as an individual even though the 6 of us have as different backgrounds as possible from skittish about water to returning Divers like myself. After seeing many speaker / trainers as well as doing same for a living and his balancing act of teaching among our widely varied scuba class was / is impressive in the extreme. Scuba Instruction is a super delicate subject and Mr Keller has a delicate style that makes the material approachable. He is a professional standard you could comfortably use as a template for any other instructor in your program. While his outward appearance is casual and easy; the deeper teacher part is as focused as skilled. So as stated earlier I don’t have time or desire to whine or praise many services, but my time with Mr Keller warrants up chain kudos in my opinion. I truly feel my scuba instruction was of the highest caliber at any price and reflects well of the PADI standards. Blue Skies, Austin Davis
