I am writing this to PADI Quality Management in review of my recent experience with Maximum Scuba in Houston, TX. I attended the school during the week of July 4-10 to receive my open water certification. I would rate my experience with them as excellent. The instructor for my course was Pat Keller. Pat is extremely knowledgeable in the technical areas of teaching as well as practical application of the classroom material. He not only made sure that we knew the information but his presentation style kept the class fun and interesting. During class he was patient when it came to answering questions and clearing up any of the students concerns. When it came to practical application of the classroom material, Pat was once again extremely patient on our initial trip to the pool. He took time to give each student personal attention and ensure that everyone was up to speed on the skills needed to be a good and safe diver. Because of my experience with Pat Keller and Maximum Scuba, I will definitely be returning to the school to continue my education as a diver and would highly recommend Pat Keller as the instructor to request.
