My husband and I just got back from Mexico where we “snuba’d”…thought it was just a “throw a mask on and give me some air” kinda thing…but found out it was almost as good as the real thing. After seeing all that beauty under the water I was hooked. 2 weeks later my son, husband and I were sitting in Pat’s class ready to learn to dive. I just wanted to say thank you to Pat, Mark and Phoenix for making my first week of scuba better than I expected. I learned a LOT in such a short week and then learned so much on the weekend dives at Mammoth. I have to admit that I was very nervous and had a few rough minutes underwater but thanks to all of you I made it thru and CANNOT wait to get back under the water again. We will all 3 be at the Advanced class end of October and cannot wait to continue learning and seeing more. It sounds kinda cheesy but I learned a lot about myself this past weekend and appreciate the patience and direction all of you gave…it really gave me a chance to get over my fears and on to diving! Just can’t wait to see some clear water and have that peaceful feeling of seeing all of that awesomeness the ocean has to offer again real soon. Thank you guys!!! Michelle Budd
