Yes, you receive a scuba diving license, also known as a certification card, after completing a scuba certification class. The certification card is a document that shows you've completed the required training to scuba dive. It is also known as a C-card that you can show proof you have taken and passed the scuba diving certification course.

No, You don’t need to be an Olympic swimmer but there are some minimum requirements for safety reasons. You will need to complete a 200 yrd swim (any stroke and it is not timed), you will also need to “float” for 10 minutes (this can be laid on your back or treading), The most important consideration is that you feel comfortable in the water. Many students who do not how to swim we also teach them how to swim.

Yes, One option is to dive with contact lenses – disposables are best in case you lose one during some of the mask skills . If you are not a contact lens wearer then a prescription mask is a great option. In our experience most students are able to dive without their glasses.

Yes, no problem! Most of our students are single in our scuba classes. You may find that you have a one on one scuba class with the Dive Instructor who will also be your buddy or you may form part of a group so you’ll meet new Dive buddies. Our scuba lessons are designed to meet people and do more things! We get single divers at the lake looking for a Dive Buddy all the time.

Your scuba diving certification will last a lifetime. It is your ticket to scuba dive around the word.

No, we provide everything needed to get certified. Just bring Bathing suit, towel, snack and a Smile! We will take care of the rest.

There are many variables to the question, but think you can budget for good equipment for around $2,000. Most scuba gear will last 20 years if taken care of.

We recommend a minimum preflight surface interval of at least 12 hours for single dive and 18 hours for repetitive dives or multiple days of diving.  We recommend the same for after your scuba class.

Most people do not have problems with their ears while scuba diving. With a few different techniques that we teach, we make it simple to clear your ears. We like to say "If you can Fly in a airplane then you should be able to Scuba Dive."

A recreational scuba diver usually reaches a maximum depth of about 130 feet (40 meters). In contrast, technical divers, equipped with specialized training and gear, are capable of diving to much greater depths, often exceeding several hundred feet.
